Mary L. Selk

Age 63, of Waupaca, died on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center following a brief illness. She was born on February 5, 1944 in Fond du Lac, daughter of the late Martin & Gladys (Smedberg) Mutz. After raising her family in Stevens Point, Mary moved to Waupaca. She worked at the Pick 'n Save in Waupaca for the past ten years until she couldn't work because of poor health. Mary loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters: Nicole (Jeff) Gustafson, West Bend; Stephanie (Craig) Plehn, Elkhart Lake; two sons: Richard (Kimberly) Selk, Weyauwega; Darren (Barb) Selk, Jackson; grandchildren: Adam (Katie), Aaron and special friend Shy, Abigail, Kelsi, Ashley, Morgan and Shannon; a great-grandchild: Alayna; a brother, Michael Mutz, Stevens Point; a sister: Carol Veith, Portland, OR. She is futher survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale, a daughter Gladys Ann, a granddaughter Marissa and a brother Lenny Mutz. The memorial service for Mary that will celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angels Cemetery in Stevens Point. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
