Maynard E. Schuelke Jr.

Maynard E. Schuelke Jr, age 64, of New London passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 21, 2023. Maynard was born on September 3, 1958, in New London to Maynard Schuelke Sr and Janice (Leary) Schuelke.

Maynard attended Little Wolf High School in Manawa and graduated in 1977. He worked at Great Lakes Kraut Co in Bear Creek, and then at Sturm Foods in Manawa. After leaving Sturm Foods he pursued his passion for truck driving and started his own trucking company.

Maynard enjoyed golfing, hunting, and camping.

Maynard is survived by his children: Mike (Tara) Schuelke and Bridget Seeger; his grandchildren: Dominic Schuelke and Melanie Schuelke; his mother Janice (Leary) Schuelke; his brothers: Tom, Mark (Darlene), Paul, Pete Schuelke; and sister Cindy (Mark) Rohan. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Maynard Schuelke Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Maynard will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Manawa.
