Parker Jon Wulf (PJ), born on July 14th, 2008, has been called back to his heavenly home. It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that Parker, forever 15, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 21st, 2023, from his hard-fought battle with cancer.
If love could have kept you here, you would have lived forever. You were my baby boy; God blessed me with a son to show me what true bravery was. Through tough times and good times, I could have never asked for a better son and friend. I am truly proud to call you my son.
Parker was a kind, loving young man with an old soul. He had a way of making people smile, laugh, and pick people up when they were down. If he wasn't playing video games, well who are we kidding, he was always playing video games! He enjoyed driving around with his friends, camping, watching YouTube, fishing, and swimming. His favorite time of the year was around the 4th of July when we would float the Embarrass River, have a cookout, bonfires and light off fireworks. It could be the end of May, water still freezing, and he would jump right in, there was no keeping him away from a chance to swim. His video games weren't just a hobby, they were his biggest passion, it was a lifestyle, one that he wanted to make a career. If you knew Parker, you knew he really disliked shopping, but he would give in to his sister to spend time with her and of course make fun of her. He was the biggest joker, pranking anybody, and taking every chance he could to scare people even if it meant ending up in the principal's office at school. Parker was a wonderful young man who everyone loved, and he will be missed dearly. He made an impact on people in the smallest of places, and words like genuine, caring, and warm-hearted are how people described him.
He's deeply missed by his mother: Kim; sister: Raven (Lance) Litchfield; aunts and uncles: Scott (Sherry) Hulett, Linda (David) Rockey, Michele Hulett, Lisa Robenhagen (Rob Briske), Tamara Schmidt (Kenny Johnson); cousins, and a multitude of family friends, his many friends and his classmates from Emanuel, and New London High School. He is further survived by his father: Jon Wulf and his family.
A special thank you to all the nurses, CNA's, doctors, Pastor Tiefel and Jon Dahlke and others involved in caring for our beloved Parker.
A gathering of Kim's family and friends, and Parker's friends will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London from 9:00am until 11:15am. A memorial service will follow, beginning at 11:30am with Rev. Mark Tiefel officiating.
