Age 44, of Weyauwega, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Weyauwega. He was born on April 4, 1966, in Port Lavaca, Texas, son of Frank and Dollie (Schneider) Leopold. Pat was an outgoing, adventurous, fun, challenging type of guy that many people loved to be around. In his free time he liked to fish, camp, and hangout with friends and family especially the grandkids. The 2nd love of his life was the grill. That man could grill anything and it would melt in your mouth. He also loved to travel. His favorite place to travel was to the ocean. Pat was a bit of a daredevil; he loved skydiving, dirt biking over a pond, and swimming with the dolphins (which we thought were sharks). He loved his family very much and loved to tell them stories about his life. He especially loved his wife Michele and the way they could joke around together. He taught his family about courage and strength so you can pull yourself through anything. The number one thing he wanted for his family was to be happy. He is survived by his wife Michele; mother: Dollie Leopold; siblings: Donna (John) Coyle, Karen (Bob) Barbour, Mike (Cindy) Leopold; children: Tiffany (Dustin) Bohringer, Patrick Leopold Jr., Crystal Leopold, Nicole Leopold, Drew Leopold; Corey Schumacher and Natasha Leopold; and 8 grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Frank and brother Steve. A memorial service for Pat will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Church in Waupaca (N2541 County Rd. E) with Pastor Paul Stevens officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
