Paula I. Harris, age 72, of Weyauwega passed away Friday March 14, 2008 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born June 14, 1935 in Muskego, WI, daughter of the late Charles and Magdalena (Baas) Kurth. As a young child she moved with her family to a farm on Partridge Crop Lake in the Town of Royalton, Waupaca Co. in 1938. Paula graduated from Weyauwega Union High School. She worked for many years at Weyauwega Dry Cleaners and later retired from Ace Mfg. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. She married Willard Harris August 2, 1969. Following her marriage she continued to live on the old homestead. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, flower gardening and loved dogs. Paula will be remembered for being a fantastic cook. She is survived by her husband: Willard; a step son: Ronald (Gloria) Schunk, Weyauwega; two step-daughters: Penny Carr, Milwaukee and Sharon (Eugene) Auman; a grandson: Joseph Harris, Waupaca; a brother: Charles Kurth, Weyauwega; a sister-in-law: Ardis Kurth, Weyauwega; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Gerald and Wallace; two sisters: Norma Guentzel and Mary Faulks. The funeral service for Paula will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 18, 2008 at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday March 17, 2008 and at the church Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
