Randy L. Bartel

Age 40, of Weyauwega passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 27, 2008 in Lake Ozark, MO of an apparent heart attack. He was born May 5, 1967 in Waupaca, son of Londell and Judy (Dobbert) Bartel. He graduated from St. Peter Lutheran School and then Weyauwega-Fremont High School with the class of 1985. Randy worked concrete for many years, first with Don Braun Concrete and presently with Doall Concrete. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish on his free time. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. He is survived by his mother: Judy Schumann, Weyauwega; his brother: Ricky Bartel, Weyauwega; his grandma: Vernice Bartel, Neenah; uncles: Gale Bartel, Kenneth Dobbert, Harley Dobbert, Butch Dobbert, Frank (Barb) Dobbert, Duane (Gerry) Dobbert, Allan (Ramona) Dobbert, a step aunt: Pudge Schumann; cousins: Eric and Cory. He is further survived by many other cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Lonnie, a brother Timothy, his paternal grandpa Werner Bartel, maternal grandparents: Elmer and Laura Dobbert, aunts and uncles: Danny Bartel, Bud (Carol) Ebeltoft and Harland (Ginny) Wall, also his step-father Buster Schumann. The Christian Funeral for Randy will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
