Rev. Carl F. Luedtke

Age 93, of the Town of Vinland, Winnebago County, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Evergreen in Oshkosh. He was born on January 9, 1918 in the Town of Vinland, son of the late William and Elsie (Pribbernow) Luedtke. On April 9, 1944, he married Bernice Koschmann. She preceded him in death on January 27, 1997. Rev. Luedtke served at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill, Trinity Lutheran Churches of Whittlesey and Chelsea, and the final 31 years of his ministry at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. He is survived by two daughters: Lois and Eunice. He is further survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife and two brothers, Orvin and Arden. The funeral service for Rev. Carl Luedtke will be held on Friday,September 23, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Wally Waite and Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday at the church from noon until the time of the service.
