Roger Rueben Much, age 69, of Manawa, went to his heavenly home on Friday, October 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born on October 27, 1947 in the Town of Union, son of the late Alvin and Linda (Braatz) Much. On November 2, 1968, he was united in marriage to Sharon Krueger at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County. She preceded him in death in 2009. Roger farmed in the Town of Union. He also worked at Sturms and Sons in Manawa until his retirement. Roger loved fishing, gardening and woodworking. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bear Creek.
He is survived by his children: Michael (Cindy) Much, Manawa, Lisa (Joe) Wettstein, New London, Karen (Kevin) Zarling, Clintonville, Kelly (Kari) Much, Waupaca; Neil (Rene) Much, Manawa; grandchildren, Amanda Pockat, Duane Much, Nicholas Much, Sylvia Much, Megan Zarling, Keleigh Much, Logan Zarling and Gabriella Much; great-grandchild, Chanel Much; brothers, Melvin (Linda) Much, Marion, Terry Much, Waupaca and Lyle (special friend Lisa Buchert) Much, Clintonville and brother-in-law, Myron (Darlene) Krueger, Marion and Darrell (Peggy) Krueger, Manawa. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His parents; wife; brother Duane, and father and mother-in-law, Ervin and Eleanor Krueger preceded him in death.
The funeral service for Roger will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (E8010 State Rd. 22) in Bear Creek with Rev. Aric Fenske officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery in the Town of Dupont. A visitation for Roger will be held at the Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
