Ronald Elmer Bonikowske

Ronald Elmer Bonikowske, age 44, of Florida, formerly of Manawa died Friday June 30, 2006 in Wilton Manors, Florida. He was born November 12, 1962 in New London son of Roger and Betty (Rast) Bonikowske. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he also went school his first eight years. He graduated from Little Wolf High School, Manawa in 1980 and continued his education, graduating from UW-Stout in 1984 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He worked in restaurant management most of his years. The past two years he had been working as a real estate agent in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after receiving his real estate license. Ron enjoyed shooting pool and bowling with his friends. He loved coming home in the fall to go deer hunting with his family, relatives and friends. He never cared if he got a deer; he just enjoyed being a part of the group and sharing stories. He loved animals very much and always had a caring heart for them. Ron is survived by his parents: Roger and Betty Bonikowske, Manawa; his brothers: Richard (Lana) Bonikowske, Ogdensburg; Randal (Cary) Bonikowske, Neenah; Russell (Lisa) Bonikowske, Manawa; and one sister: Rebecca (Scott) Erickson, Iola. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Elmer and Clara Bonikowske; and his maternal grandparents: Ferdinand and Esther Rast and Ervin and Lucille Mazemke. A Memorial Service for Ron will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday July 17, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. His cremated remains will be buried in Little Creek Cemetery in the Town of Little Wolf, Manawa, Wisconsin. Ron's family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church and School. Ron will be missed deeply and never forgotten by his family, relatives and friends. We love you Ron!
