Ruth M. Egerer

Weyauwega, formerly of Kewaskum, age 88, passed away Thursday February 12, 2009 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega. Ruth was born April 3, 1920 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late William and Regina (Ratzel) Paff. She graduated from North Division High School, Milwaukee, in 1938. She continued her education and became a LPN. On August 23, 1941 she married Elroy J. Egerer at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fussville, WI; they had two children, Joseph and Marlene. Her husband preceded her in death February 14, 2002. Together with her husband she owned and operated a dairy farm near Beachwood, WI. After retiring in 1971 they spent their winters in St. Cloud, FL. She moved to Weyauwega in 2002 and lived with her son Joseph until becoming a resident of Crystal House in Waupaca. The past year she had been a resident of Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega. She is survived by her children: Joseph (Kim) Egerer, Weyauwega; grandchildren: Joe, Matt, Marty and Michael; Marlene (Jeff) Rundquist, Clear Lake, WI; grandchildren: Carol, Julie, Jeffrey and Josh; seven great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy. The funeral service for Ruth will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home 200 S. Mill Street, Weyauwega, WI with Rev. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap officiating. Cremation will follow.
