Sandra L. Ostrowski

Sandra L. (Klaips) Ostrowski, who lived in Manawa passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Iola Assisted Living Center, of cancer. She had been ill health since April. Cremation is under the direction of Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa. Private services will be held at a later date. She was born April 15, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the daughter of the late Patricia A. (Wilkinson) and Raymond E Klaips Sr. She attended P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. She was married to Duane Ostrowski in 1972. They later divorced. She met Duane Wehe of Manawa, they were a couple for the past 16 years. Sandy never had any children, but loved her nieces and nephews as though they were her own. Her last job she worked at Buyer's Guide until becoming disabled due to Bell's Palsy 2 years ago. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her friend Cindy Roman of Manawa. If she wasn't passing time with Duane, in their yard, she could be found socializing at Boondocks Bar and Grill with friends in Manawa. She is survived by her boyfriend Duane Wehe of Manawa, 4 brothers, Raymond Jr (Lori) of Stevens Point, Patrick "Rick" of Orlando, Florida, Harold "Marty" of Wisconsin, James "Barry" of Florida, and Timothy of Stevens Point. 8 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 2 nephews.
