age 96, of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was one of five daughters born to the late William and Emma (Schmidt) Gollnick. She was born on December 28, 1914 in West Bloomfield, Waushara County. Selma was baptized on January 31, 1915 by Pastor William J. Naumann at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. On April 1, 1928 she was confirmed by Pastor C.H. Clausing. On April 17, 1938, she was united in marriage by Pastor C.H. Clausing to Fred Henschel. Selma and Fred were married almost 51 years when the Lord called Fred to his heavenly home on December 26, 1988 at age 76. Selma loved nature and being a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. She is survived by 2 sisters-in-law: Anna Koehler and Clara Radichel, also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death 4 sisters: Ida (Ed) Bauer, Lena (Alfred) Tesch, Emma (Leonard) Damerow, Meta (Arnold) Ernst; brothers-in-law: Otto Rathjin, Arnold Koehler, Elmer Radichel. The Christian Funeral for Selma will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery in West Bloomfield. The visitation for Selma will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
