Shawn Schuyler Wilcox

Age 58, of Weyauwega, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 following a short battle with a lung disease. He was born on April 26, 1950 son of Lester and Laura Wilcox. Shawn lived most of his life in the Weyauwega area. On August 16, 1973 he married Pamela Ann Durrant in Ogdensburg. Shawn worked for Wolf River Sausage in Weyauwega until its closing. He was hired by Waupaca Foundry in 1972. He worked there until his retirement this year. Shawn loved to travel, to see new places. He always wanted to go to Florida. He would pick out a new place each weekend to go visit. Shawn couldn't wait for the State Fair or Summerfest to come every year. He is survived by his wife Pam; a daughter Alexandra Wilcox; a grandson Logan Wilcox, all of Weyauwega; his mother: Laura Sears; sisters: Kathryn Heim and Marilyn Wilcox; a nephew Robbie Gauthro and family; nieces: Lori Wilcox and Angie Wilcox; all of Milwaukee; and special friend Tom Block. He is further survived by brothers-in-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father Lester Wilcox, daughter Kimberlie Wilcox, an aunt Della Johnson, his grandmother Clara Bruhl and father-in-law Ed Durrant. A memorial service for Shawn will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
