Sherry Ann Pomeroy

November 9, 1950 — June 2, 2011

Age 60, of Manawa, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, June 2, 2011, following a short battle with cancer. She was born on November 9, 1950 in New London, daughter of the late Erwin and Edna (Prellwitz) Klemm. On September 10, 1977, she was united in marriage to Daniel Pomeroy. Their marriage was blessed with two sons. Sherry was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Manawa, where she served as the Sunday School Superintendent for many years. Besides her husband Daniel, she is survived by her sons, Jason, Travis (and special friend Sheena), a grandson Korbin, granddaughter, Britany (Mike) Mccollom; 4 great-grandchildren: Seth, Skyler, Aleia and Chantelle; sisters: Barbara (Gene) Forsythe, Cynthia (Mark) Levezow, Kathy (Ken) Mortenson; brothers: William (Harriet) Klemm, Roland (Jan) Klemm; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary Ellen Euclide, Tom (Donna) Pomeroy, Eve (Bob) Cupp; mother-in-law, Marion Pomeroy. Sherry is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends; special friends Nancy, Adrian and Judy. Sherry was a mother figure to many people. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robby Warner; daughter, Tammy Warner; brother, Pastor Keith Klemm, and nephew, Kevin Klemm. The funeral service for Sherry will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Tom Theama officiating. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery in the Town of Little Wolf. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Thursday, June 9, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
