SueAnne Montgomery

April 28, 1951 — March 2, 2013

Age 61, of Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 28, 1951 in New London, daughter of the late Francis "Frank" and Eileen (Partika) Collar. Sue attended grade school at SS. Peter & Paul in Hortonville and graduated from New London High School. Sue worked for Presto Products for 30 years, obtaining the position of area supervisor. The past 12 years she was employed by K-Mart. Sue was active in the Weyauwega Jaycetts, winning numerous awards and became a State Regional Director. She loved the outdoors enjoying her walks in the woods. She also loved camping, gardening, traveling and doing crafts with her grandchildren. In 1971, Sue married the love of her life, George Montgomery at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. They have one son, Whayne (special friend Carrie); granddaughter Calista and a grandson Bryce. She is Further survived by sisters: Pat Anunson, New London; Mary (Mike) Jansen, Weyauwega; Lori Collar, Waupaca; Donna (Roger) Besaw, Waupaca; Katie Weiland (Fiancé Greg), New London; Genny Collar, Weyauwega; sister-in-law: Diane (Bill) Anderson, Cotton, MN; brothers-in-law: Dennis (Justina) Montgomery, Duluth, MN; Dave (Gloria) Montgomery, Maryland; Keith (Sharon) Montgomery, Duluth, MN. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dale Collar, and her father and mother-in-law George and Jean Montgomery. The memorial service for Sue will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00am at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. A visitation for Sue will take place directly at the church on Friday from 9:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
