Age 70, of Ogdensburg passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011. Her journey ended peacefully at her home with her husband and children by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 15, 1941 in Detroit Michigan, daughter of the late Roman and Marion (Ziegler) Kraus. She was raised in Weyauwega and graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1959. She was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Niemuth on October 16, 1970 and recently celebrated 41 years of marriage together. Therese was a devoted active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Manawa. In her earlier years she worked as a book keeper at Wolf River Sausage and Weyauwega Union Co-op. She then raised her children and worked on their family farm. In 1988, she joined Krause Publications until her retirement. Therese's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. She loved gathering with her family, especially getting together weekly for Sunday Night Suppers. She delighted in spending time with her sisters that she shared a special bond with and visiting with her friends. Therese is survived by her husband Kenneth, Ogdensburg; daughter, Kay (Tom) Tellock, Clintonville; a son, Joe "Niemo" (Amanda) Niemuth, Manawa; daughter, Krissy (Randy) Wasrud, Iola; Dixie (Todd) Anderson, Iola. Seven grandchildren Madelynn, Jordan, Tyler, Carter, Morgan, Rayelynn, and Addison. She is further survived by her sisters: Rita (special friend James) Kraus, Waupaca; Mary Jane (Jim) Baehman, West Bloomfield; special sister-in-law, Mary Lou Niemuth, Waupaca; brother-in-law, Ron (Florence) Niemuth, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Shirley (Duane) Wegener, Manawa; cousin, David (Kathy) Kraus, Appleton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law Norman Niemuth. The family would especially like to thank Pastor Tom Theama for all his visits to Therese and being with them at the time of her passing. A sincere thank you to all her family and many friends for all their love and support during mom's illness. Therese was a very loving, giving and caring person and will be greatly missed by many. The funeral service for Therese will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Manawa with Pastor Tom Theama officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in the Town of Union. The visitation for Therese will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa from 3-6 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
