Vera L. Duesterbeck

Vera L. Duesterbeck, age 94, of Royalton, went to the arms of her Savior on Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1924 in Ipswich, South Dakota daughter of the late Jerome and Alice (Sanborn) Bonnett. On September 6, 1947, she married Donald Duesterbeck. He preceded her in death in 2012. Vera worked for Waupaca County for over 20 years. She also helped Don for many years on the farm. Vera enjoyed candle making, knitting, and was active in the Waupaca Historical Society, the Royalton Garden Club and Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by great nephews: David (Gina) Struensee, Daniel (Heidi) Struensee, Darwin (Sarah) Struensee and their mother Carol; she is further survived by great-great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Vivian Struensee and nephew Gregory Struensee.

The funeral service for Vera will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Jeffrey Fletcher officiating. A visitation for Vera will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
