Walentina “Violet” Ambroziak, age 82, of Fremont, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 3, 2022. She was born in Poland on February 10, 1939, daughter of the late Basil and Alexandra Kasperowicz. She grew up in Africa, then lived in England, and came to the United States living in New Jersey. While in New Jersey she met and married Steve Ambroziak on August 10, 1958. Violet and Steve then moved to Chicago for a short time and when Steve retired they moved to Fremont. They enjoyed traveling across the United States and Canada and spending their winters in Texas. Violet took great pride in her home. She enjoyed fishing and her rooster and doll collections.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Steve; grandchildren: Jessie and Stefan Ambroziak; great grandchildren: Alexandra Schilz and Adaline Lozier; sister-in-law Kai Kasperowicz.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Roman, also her brother Jan Kasperowicz.
The Funeral Mass for Violet will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Matthew Rappl officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
