Virginia L. Dittmann

Virginia L Dittmann, age 87, of Pine River, went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Patriot Place Assisted Living in Berlin. She was born on October 31, 1933 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Raymond and Louise (Caldway) Hathaway. On February 28, 1954, she was united in marriage to Donald B. Dittmann at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi where she is still a member. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2013. Virginia and Don farmed most of their life in Waushara County. Virginia was a social butterfly, she enjoyed playing cards, reading and doing puzzles.

She is survived by her children: Robert Lorraine) Dittmann, Mary (Bruce) Robbins, Joyce Dittmann, Larry Dittmann, Donna (Tony) Marinack, Darrell (Jill) Dittmann, Sandy (Frank) Holzman, Jane (Paul) Fink; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin daughters Joanne and Diane Dittmann, and a daughter Jean Dittmann.

The funeral service for Virginia will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi with Rev. Paul Mundinger officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in West Bloomfield. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
