Warren F. Boese

Warren Frank Boese, age 76, of Clintonville, formerly of Manawa passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at New London Family Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1931, in Green Lake County, WI, son of the late Frank and Marguerite (Nehls) Boese. On August 2, 1958, he married Luella Wuske at the Methodist Church in Berlin, WI. He lived in Berlin and was employed at Chapman's Foundry over 25 years. He moved with his family to Webster, WI, where he owned and operated the Webster Motel for 3 years. He moved to Manawa in 1978 and was employed at Hillshire Farm (Sara Lee) in New London, retiring in 1997. He has made his home in Clintonville since 2000. He was a member of the Manawa United Methodist Church, where he was a trustee and usher and had served on various other committees. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Luella; his daughter: Karen Boese, New London; his son: Keith Boese, New London; a brother: Daniel (Mable) Boese, Green Lake, WI; a sister: Mary Jane Zimar, Oshkosh; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jack. The funeral service for Warren will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2007, at Manawa United Methodist Church, 655 Depot Street, Manawa, WI, with Rev. Dale Eggert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Berlin, WI. Relatives and friends may call directly at the church Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa is assisting the family with arrangements.
