Willard A. Hoewisch

March 15, 1942 — March 4, 2016

Age 73 of Owen, WI formerly of the Dale & Weyauwega area, died Friday, March 4th, 2016 at The House of Dove Hospice Facility in Marshfield, after a long brave fight with cancer. Born: March 15, 1942 of Appleton, son of the late Martin & Elda (Dodie) Hoewisch. Graduated from New London High School in 1961. He farmed in the Dale area for over 20 years, employed most of his life as a factory maintenance worker, enjoyed repairing tractors & machinery, collecting toy tractors & loved the craft of carpentry.
He is survived by his children; Dorothy Westphal, Williard W Hoewisch, Judy (Heath) Luedtke, Karen (Don) Miller, Nonie Hoewisch, Jesse (Amanda) Hoewisch, Matthew Hoewisch, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Marjean (Jerry) Taylor, Bonnie (Dan) Knutzen and sister-in-law Helen Hoewisch. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and great friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death of two children Barbara & Michael, brother Marlyn Hoewisch and great granddaughter Morgan Wolk
The Christian Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:30am at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Newlin Schafer & Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A visitation will take place on Friday at 10:00am at the church until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
