Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.
Jon was born and raised in Weyauwega and graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College as a Funeral Director in 1993. Serving the Weyauwega and Manawa, and surrounding areas for 30 years. Jon considers it an honor to help people through the most challenging moment of their lives with the loss of a loved one, always serving with compassion. Jon is also a Licensed Pre-Need Specialist and is available to assist individuals and families preplan and prepay for funeral arrangements, planning unique and meaningful funeral and memorial experiences. Jon has served as president of the Fox River Valley Funeral Directors Association and is an active member of Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in New London. He and his wife Heather have two sons and two daughters and together they all enjoy listening to live music, attending sporting events, and spending time on the water.
Heather joined our staff in 2020 as the Office Manager. Prior to that she was blessed to stay home with her and Jon’s 4 kids. After 20 years of managing an active home and 6 hectic schedules, Heather enjoys the detail and task orientation of her job, but her true joy is serving the families of Weyauwega and Manawa in a time when they need the utmost care and compassion following the death of their loved one. Heather is also a Licensed Pre-Need Specialist and is available to assist individuals and families pre plan and prepay for funeral arrangements, planning unique and meaningful funeral and memorial experiences.
Mark was born and raised in Iola. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Milwaukee Area Technical College where he received an Associate Degree in Funeral Service in 1987. With over 35 years of experience, Mark takes pride in assisting families arrange funerals that are meaningful and personal. Mark joined the Dahlke Funeral & Cremation Care staff in 2020 and is honored to now be serving the families of Weyauwega and Manawa. Mark continues to manage Voie Funeral Home, also serving the families of Iola, Scandinavia, and surrounding communities and townships in Waupaca and Portage Counties. He and his wife Jacci, have two grown daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren. Mark enjoys playing golf and watching baseball, football and basketball.
Ava, the daughter of Jon and Heather, graduated from the Univeristy of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in May of 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. Dedicating her studies to family dynamics and how to better help families in their adversities, the education she received has only made her a greater asset to our team. She completed her spring internship with us during her last semester, and then started full-time as an office assitant in June of 2023. Outside of work, Ava enjoys spending time with family, playing card/board games, and coaching volleyball.
Mike has been graciously assisting on funerals and visitations with Dahlke Funeral & Cremation Care for over ten years, and he and his wife Nancy have been members of the Weyauwega Community since 1970. Mike was a member of the Weyauwega-Fremont Schools Faculty as a teacher and coach for 41 years before his retirement. He and Nancy enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Jeremy is the most recent addition to the Dahlke Funeral & Cremation Care staff, joining us as a Licensed Life Tribute Apprentice in January of 2024. Jeremy was born and raised in Weyauwega. He taught Agriculture Education, was an FFA Advisor at Seymour Community High School for 13 years, and served as a volunteer Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for City of Seymour Fire Department and Seymour Rescue. After obtaining his Master's Degree in Educational Administration, he served as Middle and High School Principal for the Weyauwega-Fremont School District for five years. Jeremy most recently served as the City Administrator in Weyauwega for five years. Helping people and doing what is right has been Jeremy's focus his entire life, and we are excited to welcome him to our team! Jeremy enjoys being outdoors hunting, fishing and maintaining his yard and garden while spending time with his dog, Hunter.
